Home for Christmas

We are soon about to start our midwest tour on Wednesday, heading to Ames Iowa to Geno's parents place for a few days and then off to Madison, Wisconsin on Friday. We'll be in WI until Monday when we'll head on our 10 hour trip back to Pierre, South Dakota. Getting very excited to go home, we haven't been to my parents house since last Christmas and haven't seen my nephews since Memorial Day weekend. Hopefully little Bryce won't think we are strangers, but he might since it has been a while. Also, get to see my friend Jessica and her little girl Makenna whom I haven't seen either since our reception back in Madison, so I'm excited about that too. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

And it is........?

Well, baby didn't cooperate so well today at our appointment. We had an ultrasound to make sure everything is a okay with baby and all appears to be healthy, which is great! However, in trying to find out baby's sex, its legs were crossed and therefore the thighs were together and the doctor couldn't make a definite answer of boy or girl. She did say of what she was able to see, that she says probably 60% chance it is a girl! But she still doesn't know for sure since she didn't get a "good" look. From what she did see, she didn't see any definitive boy parts. So we'll just have to wait until baby is born to see what it for sure is. Here are some pictures of our ultrasound today. Baby was moving around quite a bit during the ultrasound so we didn't get a real clear picture of the face b/c its hands were around its face and kept moving around.

Signed up for Blog to keep everyone up to date!

Hi everyone, I have decided to sign up for this blog because it will be a good way to post pictures and tell everyone what is going on with the pregnancy and all. A few of my friends have used this and it is a really nice way to be updated with everything from photos and just what is going on. Especially when you live far away from family and friends like we do. So hopefully you'll look at it often and I'll be able to keep it up to date with info and pictures.

Ultrasound on Thursday!

We're getting excited, we have our next ultrasound on Thursday and hopefully the baby will cooperate and we will find out what it is. Right now I am 19 weeks and 3 days along. Just starting to show a little more, seems like each day. My pants are getting tighter and tighter and with some I have to use a hair tie to button my pants together, otherwise they are too tight when I do button them. Pretty soon I won't be able to button them at all!!!
