Photo Program

I have to show the difference in some pictures....I downloaded a free trial of Adobe Photoshop Elements and I LOVE IT!!!  The difference it makes  in the pictures is amazing and its pretty easy. There are so many neat things that you can do with it that I haven't even touched yet.  After the free trial it is only $80 to purchase which isn't to bad I think.

Here are some examples...the first one is the original and the second is the fixed one.  You can really see the difference in color, especially with the ones in the badlands.

I could sit at the computer for hours playing with this program....I LOVE IT!! And I am excited to take more pics and play with it!  I hope some of you try it out and see what it's all about.

Mom, Jean and the Badlands

My Mom and Aunt Jean came out for a visit last week.  They got here on Thursday and left Monday morning.  We decided that we would go out to Deadwood for a night - which was my first night away from Hadley.  We left Saturday morning, I was a little apprehensive about leaving because Hadley wasn't feeling the best.  She was ornery and not herself.  But Geno assured me he would be fine which I knew he would but still felt like I needed to be "Mommy".  But we went left Saturday AM and we drove through the Badlands since Jean had never been out here before.  We also drove by Mt. Rushmore and took the loop around and back north up to Deadwood.  The Black Hills are so pretty....if they were on the East side of the state, I could definitely live there.  Here are some pics of our journey....I didn't take much after we left the badlands.

Prairie dog town with some antelope laying down in the distance...

It is so pretty...the colors that are in this part of the badlands - green, pink, yellow, brown and the blue sky!

Swimsuits and Dogs

We decided when it was forcast to be over 100 degrees that we should go up to Lake Oahe and go swimming to keep cool.  Geno got Hadley ready - sunscreen on and swimsuit on and this is what came out of her room...

Yes, that is a mohawk...and isn't it so CUTE!!!  I think she liked it too! :)

Well our swimming didn't work out to well, we drove around looking for a spot to go - we were going to go just above the dam, but the wind was blowing in there and it was all mucky and dirty water along with the waves crashing in to the shore...not good for the Hadster.  So we went further north and didn't find a good spot there either.  We finally went below the dam after 1.5 hours of driving around and by that time Hadley was at her nap time and didn't take to swimming there to well - and the water was really cold being that we were below the dam where all the coldwater from Oahe gets put through the dam and into Lake Sharpe.  So we weren't there to long needless to say and didn't get the camera out.  And by the way...the high for the day was 106!!!

Rainy loves laying by or on Tar...as you can see in a few of these pics...

As you can see here, Hadley and Rainy get along pretty well...
Here is a video of Hadley....she had a balloon that lasted forever from her birthday balloons.  She started saying "balloon" and it is so cute when she says it.  In this video I was trying to get her to say it...she does once but the rest is cute too.

Messy girl

Here are a few of Hadley eating some applesauce, as you can tell she got all nice and messy.  There is a video of her eating as well and she talks saying "yeah" and "thank you".  And a few randoms after that of her playing with the dogs.
