2nd Fishing Trip on Father's Day
Happy Father's Day to Geno!! We went fishing in the boat for Hadley's second time. Once again she enjoyed it and if she wasn't sleeping she was just looking around hanging out in her carseat/life jacket. She did really well. Also...last night was her 3rd consecutive night of sleeping though the night until about 6:30am or so!! She's doing really good. She is getting her rest for the big trip to Iowa this weekend!!!

Daddy feeding Hadley
Daddy got to feed Hadley for the first time Wednesday night! We wanted to start to introduce her to a bottle since she will be going to day care soon :(
She took the bottle really easily and sucked it right down so I don't think she will have a problem.
We took her back to the doctor yesterday b/c she has some more rashy spots appearing, since they said if it doesn't go away to bring her back in. She told us to put some hydrocortizone cream on them this time - her ear and the top of her forhead on her hairline. The other one from before has pretty much cleared up...just a few flakes on her still from that. When we weighed her yesterday she was 9lbs 14oz....so she gained 10 ounces in one week!!!! I would say she is getting enough to eat!!
I also forgot to mention in the other posts that the other night she slept for 8.5 hours!! So she is doing well at sleeping.

She is starting to fit into more of her clothes....

Hadley Sleeping
Here are some pictures of how Hadley looks when I go in to wake her up for a feeding in the morning. She just loves her hands up by her face and she manages to get them through her swaddle blanket up to her face even with the velcro on the blanket. She is a strong little girl!!! These are from the past two mornings.

Bath Time
First weekend outing from home...
We went to Huron, SD this past weekend to the SD Outdoor Expo where Geno had to work at it on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday morning was our first trip leaving with Hadley to go "somewhere" other than walmart and having to pack up a lot of stuff. It took us a little longer than expected and we almost had to take the truck with all the stuff we had to take for her, but Geno was able to stuff it all into the car. When we go to Iowa in a few weeks we'll definatly have to take the truck!!!
So we left at 7am on Saturday and Hadley did really well all weekend. She didn't cry much at all...if she started to we went for walk in the stroller or in the baby bjorn. It was a long day on Saturday...the expo started at 9am and went until 6pm. We ate dinner there, they provided it for the people working. Tar was the mascot on Saturday, as you can see with his fish shirt on!! What Geno was doing is making fish print t-shirts. He figured that they went through about 700 shirts both days. So that was good. The kids love them. I was a little nervous about staying in a hotel with her right now...b/c if she were to cry a lot and keep others up. But we got to the hotel and she ate...and was up for a little while and then ate again before bed - which she was just a little fussy before she fell asleep finally at 11pm...but then she didn't get up again until 5am!! So it was a good night. We were at the expo again on Sunday from 9am - 4pm. So it was another long day, but she did well again. Then the 2hr drive home...I was really tired after the long weekend as was Geno, Hadley and Tar. But it was a good weekend....nice for us to get out of the house!!!
And we can count Sunday as Hadley's first day of Smiling!!!! She is much more alert each day and now you can get her to smile when talking to her. She would make smerks before, but not really controlled I think. She is just darn cute. Some of the pics....show the start and to the end of the smile. I haven't caught her on camera yet but there is a little video!
Oh...and she also was sporting her deer cap....her elmer fudd had on Saturday morning. She was showing that she is an outdoor baby!!!
