Videos from the past week

Hadley and Tar

Here are some pics of Hadley and Tar's photo session yesterday...some videos to follow.

The look on his face....his eyes is priceless.....

Just before this...Tar gave Hadley a kiss....

More from past week...

These next few pics are from up at Witlocks...about an hour north of Pierre. We decided we would try and go up and catch a salmon from shore. We didn't catch one but it was fun to get out there....actually the water level is so much higher than the past few years so there is a ton of brush in the water that you get snagged on, so it's not to easy from shore.

In this picture...behind me is the salmon ladder....the salmon climb up the ladder to mock spawning. The SD Game Fish and Parks crew will be up working at this station to get salmon eggs and to do spawning to get the hatchery loaded up with more salmon to potentially hatch.

Geno went grouse hunting with Brian Graeb. Brian brought his two Llewellin setters and his red setter - this particular one is Sauger. They got 2 prairie chickens and one sharp-tailed grouse the one day and nothing the next day.

SD Prairie...

The next pictures are from while we were out in Rapid City last week. Geno had to go for work to go to some of the hatcheries and to do some other things for work - he got to go out and electrofish a stream out in the black hills to look for mountain suckers. They only ended up finding one in the amount of the stream that they shocked. The number of the suckers has declined due to a cyanide spill a while back from a mining operation. So it's not good that they only found one sucker. So we decided that Hadley and I would go with him out there since he had to stay for two nights....so we hung out at the hotel and did some shopping while Geno was out for work.

This picture is from one of the hatcheries...these are all trout.

Hadley is looking at the trout in the tank...

A pond at one of the hatcheries that has some nice trout in it....you can see them in the water behind us.

Here are the pics Geno took while out shocking the stream.....he was actually very close to the Wyoming border.

Doesn't Hadley look like an ice cream cone....

More of Geno hunting....this time with the Tar man....

Past week

Here are some pictures from the past week, I'll add some more in a post after this one. These next two are from our trip to walmart yesterday, we had 50 mph winds all day and used our lovely car seat cover made by Deb Frizzel - it came in handy to keep her out of the wind!! Thanks Deb!

Now Hadley can TRAVEL!! She rolls from her back to her tummy and back to her back now....just mostly going to her left from her tummy....so she continues to roll the one way....but now she travels!! We'll put her on her blanket on the floor and she'll be off of it in no time!! Time to start being more careful now with things on the floor etc!!!

She was so tired this day....I unwrapped her and she still was sleeping....she didn't want to get up!!
