Geno was gone a night last week for work and I took this cell phone video of Hadley when I put her to bed for the night. She did everything I asked her to in the video. Geno just loved it when I sent it to him!!!

The Snow Geese are here!
This past weekend we decided to go drive around since it was to cold to do much outside. We wanted to look for snow geese and other wildlife. We found some huge groups and Hadley loved it. There are tons of Canada Geese that reside here in Pierre during the winter as you can maybe tell from previous posts from Capitol Lake. She always yells "Geese" when she sees them flying. So we thought she would get a kick out of seeing thousands of snow geese....and she did!!!! Here are some pics and one video of what we saw on our drive.
Shore Fishing
We had another nice day the same weekend as our walk. We decided we would go out and fish from shore. We were there for about a 1/2 hour and then the wind picked up and the clouds moved in and it got chilly so we left. To bad it was so short but we still enjoyed ourselves and Hadley liked playing with the rocks and throwing them into the water.
Walk on Farm Island
A few weekends ago we had some nicer weather and most of the snow melted. It was pretty windy out so we decided to go take a walk on Farm Island since we would be protected from the wind in there since it is tree covered. We had a nice long walk....and Hadley had a great time. We put some layers on her, including her carhart bibs...which are just about to small!! Hard to believe...our baby is getting to big! We got them from Geno's sister while in the hospital when we had Hadley. We let her walk for a while but decided if we were going to get anywhere we had to put her in her wagon. She played though for a long time before then throwing snow....etc. Be sure to watch the video at the end...it has 4 different ones in it of different things including her laughing as she throws snow and Rainy goes after it.
Squirming away from Momma...
She loved getting things to hold on to like pieces of tree, grass etc.
